During NERPO’s recent gala dinner of the 10th Anniversary Celebrations and AGM held at the CSIR, City of Tshwane recently, the Group Managing Director, Mr. Aggrey Mahanjana announced that Mr.Madambi Wilson Muvhulawa will be the new chairperson of the National Emergent Red Meat Producers Organisation (NERPO). Mr. Muvhulawa who is from the Limpopo province takes over the reigns of leadership from Mr. Victor Moagi of North West Province.

“The appointment of Mr. Muvhulawa could not have come at a better time, than a period in which we have just opened for ourselves a new chapter and account with which to strengthen the organisation, both in terms of Economic Empowerment of our members, youth and women in Agriculture as well as institutional capacity of our local structures to be able to engage government on matters of livestock development. I am confident that a man of his caliber will lead us successfully into the new era” said Mr. Mahanjana.

Key in his first address, Mr. Muvhulawa has emphasized on the need to grow the organisation by targeting agricultural youth and rural women, for them to play a pivotal role in food security and agricultural development.
